DOMINO D’LORION

(They/Them) is a queer, Afro-Boriqua, actor, playwright, teaching artist & drag queen (Lady Cummeal) in the Twin Cities, originally from Chicago, IL. An alum of The Chicago Academy for the Arts, The Northwestern National High School Institute Theatre/Musical Theatre Program (Cherubs), and the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program with a minor in Business Management from the Carlson School of Management. They have appeared in "Under the Gaslight" with the Minnesota Centennial Show Boat, "Boudica" in the Dowling Studio at the Guthrie Theater, his award-winning original show "STOOPIDITY" at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, "Hit the Wall" at the Southern Theater with Mixed Precipitation, and "After The Fires" at the Illusion Theater with Transatlantic Love Affair. They are a founding member of the Minnesota Black Theatre Circle, and is currently producing the "Blackness Is...Arts Festival", in partnership with The Guthrie Theater (www.blacknessis.com). 

In their work as an actor/writer, Domino strives to investigate the human condition from the perspective of queer POC (specifically Afro-Latinx), marrying and upsetting traditional practices, in a variety of ways, both realistic and magical. Placing brown bodies and alternative perspectives at the forefront of storytelling.

Outside of performing, they enjoy drawing, cooking, hiking, bike-riding, sewing & design, reading, and playing video games. Domino is represented by Wehmann Models & Talent and Moore Creative Talent, Inc.
